Saturday, May 22, 1999 at Nashville, TN
Today is a special day. Being a Tennessee corporation, it`s going to be nice when we cross that line into our home state. The Power Tour has been an incredible trip from San Bernardino, but we`ve been away from home for a long time. We were so fired up when we got to the state line, that we had to stop for a photo. I really felt like a tourist here.

The city of Nashville was really behind this event, the blocked off a section of downtown and gave it to us. We had cars and displays everywhere, and we were surrounded by stores and restaurants. The COMP Cams display was directly in front of the NASCAR Cafe, and since we have an unbelievable envolvement with the NASCAR teams, and it was the day of ``The Winston`` race, it`s like we were meant to be there.

OK, you`re going to have to stay with me on this one. Check this out. It`s a firetruck, it`s a truck with flames. It`s a fire truck with flames. I think I`ve confused myslef.

I thought this was so cool that I asked fellow Power Tourer Tom Scaman to put his car in our dispaly today. This is a replica of the Porsche that James Dean raced, and unfortuantely, was killed in. This car was really impressive and attracted a lot of attention. Tom had lots of stories about the car and people`s reactions to seeing the car.

I`d like to thank Dave Localio and all of the other guys from the School of Automotive Machinists in Houston, Texas. They made the entire tour and helped us out with our display. They worked like endentured servants or something. This is one of the four cars thay had, thanks guys.
