| Sunday, October 17, 1999 at Panama City Beach, FL | | Well, it`s the final day and the crowd is
thinning out. Yesterday we
were packed in here like sardines and now people
are packing up to leave.
 |
| The trick about going home from the Power Tour is
fitting all of the stuff you acquire along the
way into your trunk. These folks are better off
than us, we don`t have half the trunk space they
do.
 |
| This was our situation, we had to get all that
stuff out of our trailer and pack it into that
Viper, Mustang and Camaro. The trailer is heading
to Texas and we`re heading home.
 |
| You make a lot of friends along the way when you
do one of these things, and here is a good one.
Army Armstrong does the entertainment at each
stop along the tour and does his best to
recognize all of the sponsors. Army is also a
very good friend. Thank you Army, for being a
friend and for doing such a great job for us
along the way, see you soon.
 |
| Here are Mike and Eric from Dyno Performance
Engineering. They have
drug that chassis dyno to every stop on the tour
and set it up for people to use. Thanks guys,
it`s been fun.

| We at COMP Cams are really proud to be part of this crazy band of travelers. It really means something to me to be a three time "Long Hauler." The fact that we have endured the same problems as everyone
else shows our commitment to our industry. We could have loaded the cars in the trailer and flown in to the next stop, but then we would have missed most of the fun. There is something to be said for running
down the road with everyone as we all try to make it to the next stop. We all feel the same fear when we see someone on the side of the road with a problem and are thankful that so many people have already stopped to help. Thank you to everyone who allowed us to be part of their Power Tour experience, we had fun. Thank you to Brian Adams and Brian Beckenbaugh who drove our trailers along the way and worked so hard every night. I would like thank Mike Bond and Jay Adams from COMP Cams
who shared the ride with me and I especially would like to thank the Alabame State Police officer who let us slide when we were exceeding the speed limit way too much. Thanks to all the guys at Year One who helped us in Atlanta when we had hood hinge problems. And most of all, thank you to all of you who followed along with us as we went on our way. I hope that you enjoyed our tour, I know I sure did.
